NEW SPORTS FACILITIES WITHIN THE METROPOLITAN PARK OF GREEN AND RECREATION OF HELLINIKON – AGIOS KOSMAS METROPOLITAN POLE

The New Sports Facilities site is located within the Athletic Precinct of the Hellinikon Metropolitan Park (MP) Zone, in an area of approx. 278,000 sqm. The development incorporates the new location of the currently existing facilities of the National Athletics Centre (EAKN) of Agios Kosmas, which will serve both the existing neighboring urban fabric and visitors of the Park from the wider Attica region and is anticipated to become a world-class center for organized sports activities. At a later stage, it may also incorporate additional sports facilities such as basketball, tennis courts, beach volley, and respective academies. The complete set of studies (Urban, Architectural, Structural, MEP studies) is being devised under the coordination of DECATHLON S.A.
