OUTDOOR THEATRE IN PATRAS, GREECE

The design of the new Patras Outdoor Theatre was based on a tradition of outdoor theatres that were common in Greece in the period 1920 – 1940. The project involves an outdoor seating area for 3,000 spectators and an enclosed stage-house, with fly-tower, dressing rooms and support spaces. The stage-house can operate as a smaller indoor theatre during the winter period.
