SWIMMING COMPLEX AT PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP STADIUM

The new OSFP Water Sports and Culture Center is a modern, multi-purpose complex designed for both elite competition and everyday training, built to international federation standards.

Sports Facilities The centerpiece is an indoor Olympic-size pool with 3,000 spectator seats, complemented by an outdoor pool accommodating 1,150 spectators, two children’s pools, and full competition infrastructure including VIP suites, media and TV rooms, medical clinic, physiotherapy, and coach and referee facilities.

Beyond the Pool The complex also houses a maritime sports museum, exhibition spaces, recreational and retail areas, a gym, spa, and dining facilities — making it a destination for athletes and the public alike.

Design Philosophy The architecture prioritizes open, unobstructed public movement around and through the site. The composition of volumes reflects the building’s functional layout, with the indoor pool as the central element and the outdoor pool platform presenting a unified western façade. Bioclimatic and environmental design principles are embedded throughout, restoring the natural flow of access to the waterfront area.
